Our Mission

The 94th Social started in 1997 and continues to be the premiere all-inclusive kink social event in San Diego. We create a safer space for folks of all levels of interest and experience to find acceptance, create and cultivate friendships, and share ideas, plans and camaraderie.

This event is non-exclusive, so members of all clubs and organizations are welcome, along with folks who are new to the community.

We specifically want to make this event welcoming to those who are new to kink in general, and our community as a whole. We know how intimidating it can be to be new, so one of our main goals is to maintain a welcoming, judgement-free space for folks to dip their toe into the waters of kink.

A Safer Space

This event is a welcoming space for all individuals. To maintain a warm, safer environment, we have developed the following guidelines to address inappropriate behavior:

  • We will take complaints of harassment, discrimination, and violence against attendees and volunteers seriously.

    • This may include—but is not limited to—sexual harassment or behavior that is racist, sizeist, sexist, transphobic, queerphobic, ableist, xenophobic, ageist, and homophobic.

    • There will be no retaliation against the person who reports the behavior.

  • Remove any offending parties from our space.

  • Ensure our volunteers, and venue are aware of our policies.

  • Use all available resources to better understand the issues at hand as well as the best methods for dealing with them.

Why a “safer" space?

Our goal is that all individuals feel safe and comfortable at our events. We acknowledge that creating safer spaces is an ongoing process—one that requires attention, intention, effort, and evolving approaches. No space is ever 100% safe, but the ongoing work we do to make it safer ensures that all will feel welcome, and as safe as possible in a public gathering.

We welcome feedback on our approach.
